At St. Luke's, we have two groups that sing at Sunday Masses: the Choir and the Schola.
The Choir sings at the 8:30am Mass and usually practices every Thursday at 6:30-8:00pm. Music repertoire, in addition to the Mass Ordinary and hymns, includes SATB choir selections, plainchants, and polyphony drawn from throughout the Church's history.
The newly-founded Schola sings at the 11:00am Mass and practices every Tuesday at 6:30-8:00pm. The main musical focus of the Schola is on Gregorian Chant and other plainchant, especially the Propers of the Mass, but may also include forms such as polyphony.
Practices for both groups are usually held in the music office.
