|Our Big Dream for God
Last August we began building our New Church with an approved finance project cost of $5.45M, which included construction costs of $3.88M plus a 10% contingency, and $1.18M for furnishings, architectural services, project management, and other professional fees. Funding for the project included anticipated fire loss insurance proceeds of $1.35M, projected pledge contributions of $2.83M, cash on hand and excess funds during construction of $.8M, and a long term loan from the diocese of $.56M.
As of Aug 31 of this year, construction costs for our new church are projected at $3.9M and together with other associated costs the project remains within our $5.45 budget. We’ve received over $3.1 in pledges, with approximately $2.3 collected to date. We expect to receive final construction billing mid November, and will report detailed project costs by year’s end. It is very important for everyone to continue the payments on their pledge. Please be assured that your generosity is deeply and greatly appreciated.
Clancy & Theys is now working on completion of punch list items prepared during our walk through with the architect and members of the construction committee on September 19th.
