Music Ministry Groups

Looking for an excellent way to give of your time and talent?? Join one of our music ministry groups – choir, ensemble, children’s choir, or Saturday Mass schola. Practices are one time weekly and each group sings at a different Mass.

“Come, let us sing joyfully to the Lord;
cry out to the rock of our salvation.
Let us come before him with a song of praise,
joyfully sing out our psalms.” ~Psalms 95:1 – 2

There are so many ways to become involved in the music ministry at St. Luke’s. Please contact Marilyn Struckmeyer to begin sharing your talent with our community!

ADULT CHOIR:

Our adult choir is a SATB group that practices on Thursdays from 7:00-8:30pm. The choir sings at the 9:00am Mass on Sundays.  
Adult choir also prepares music for special liturgies at Christmas (including Lessons & Carols), Easter and Pentecost.
Instrumentalists are also welcome.

CANTORS: 

If you aren’t able to commit to one of the groups and you are interested in being a Cantor for Mass (singing the Psalm), contact Marilyn for more details. 

CHILDREN’S CHOIR: 

St. Luke’s Children’s/Youth Choir 
The children’s choir rehearsal  meet on Tuesday evening, before Faith Formation from 5:45-6:15 in the Church Balcony.

REJOICE!

Rejoice is a quarterly event that includes prayer, music and fellowship. Musicians prepare contemporary Christian music for this even. Both instrumentalists and singers are welcome! Practices are 3 Sundays before each event in the afternoon. Contact Marilyn with questions.
