Vita Nova is St. Luke’s ministry to high school youth in our Raleigh area. It’s all about loving Christ and having a great time doing it. We play crazy games, take awesome trips, have deep conversations, and build lasting relationships. We have regular weekly meetings with monthly fun and outreach opportunities, as well as annual retreats, mission trips, and youth conferences. We have an Adult leadership team and Student Leadership team that work very hard to Bring Christ to our youth community. If you are looking to get involved, just show up and experience what it means to be a part of our Vita Nova family.
At Vita Nova we explore the Catholic faith through the study of Scriptures, the Sacraments, and through our shared experience. We use parts of the LifeTeen program for Vita Nova. We cover topics like the sacraments, prayer, Incarnation, and many more fundamentals of the faith. We definitely have fun at Vita Nova, but we also focus very much on catechesis and faith formation. While we do play games and have parties, we also spend most of our time going over the topics and discussing them in small or large group settings.
